How to use

Learn how to leverage Slowpo.ke to make hosting your tournaments easier than before.

Running a tournament

Running a tournament on Slowpo.ke can be done in two different modes.

TOM mode

In TOM (Tournament Operations Manager) mode, you can import the tournament file (.tdf) from TOM to Slowpo.ke. Slowpo.ke will then automatically display your tournament's pairings and standings.

Slowpo.ke Swiss

In Slowpo.ke Swiss mode, Slowpo.ke will independently calculate your tournament's pairings and standings. This is perfect for casual tourmaments.

Assigning decks

As the tournament creator, you can assign decks to players anytime after the tournament has been started. This adds the deck name and Pokémon sprites to the player's details.

To assign a deck, go to your tournament standings and click the icon next to a player's standing.

Click on the icon next to a player's standings to open the deck assignment interface.

If a deck is less common, you can find it under the archetype "Rogue". If a player's deck is not included in the archetypes you can choose "Misc" to give the player an Unown ?.

Note that full deck lists cannot yet be assigned. The webmaster periodically updates the deck choices to include common and rogue decks.

Deck visibility

Deck visibility controls when decks are publically displayed in your tournament. There are 3 modes of deck visibility available. These can be selected while you are creating your tournament or any time thereafter in your tournament panel under Actions > Edit tournament.

  1. After tournament (default)

Decks will only be shown to players after the tournament's has been concluded.

In TOM mode a tournament is ended automatically based on the tournament file. In Slowpo.ke Swiss mode a tournament has to be manually concluded under Actions > End tournament.

  2. Always

Decks will be publically shown at all times.

  3. Never

Decks will not be publically shown at all.

Viewing player stats

Click on a player's name in the pairings or standings to view that player's stats.

Players' names on the pairings are not clickable when you you are entering results to prevent missclicks.
