TOM Mode
Learn how to use Slowpo.ke to host your official Pokémon TCG tournaments online with the help of TOM.
Before starting
TOM mode requires the tournament organizer to use TOM (Tournament Operations Software), Pokémon's official tournament software.
TOM mode is designed to allow you to share the pairings and standings of a Pokémon TCG tournament generated by TOM. Slowpo.ke cannot influence your tournament's data in any way.
You can also assign decks to players and view your tournament's stats in TOM mode.
Slowpo.ke is currently limited to import TOM tournaments with a maximum of 100 players.
Creating a tournament
When creating a tournament it is important to select the option "TOM" under "Tournament Type" if you want to use TOM mode.
Updating pairings and standings
You can update your tournament's pairings and standings anytime on Slowpo.ke by uploading your TOM (.tdf) file. To do this, click the "Upload TOM file" button in your tournament panel and follow the instructions.
Important! Ensure your TOM file is up to date by saving your tournament in TOM beforehand, and make sure to upload a TOM file from the same tournament if you're updating an existing one.
Slowpo.ke will automatically mark your tournament as "In progress" after your first upload and as "Concluded" when the final file is uploaded.
I ran into an error
I am sorry to hear that! Slowpo.ke does his best to make sure errors don't occur, but he isn't perfect.
If this error occurs after uploading your TOM file and it keeps occuring, in your tournament panel use Actions > Reset tournament and try uploading your file again.
Resetting your tournament has no actual effect on your tournament in TOM, but it will clean Slowpo.ke's database and allow you to upload your file again.
Limitations
TOM does not export players' calculated win rates (resistance). Slowpo.ke will mimic these calculations but cannot guarantee they are exactly the same due to rounding errors.
TOM only exports players' rankings when the tournament has ended and only for non-combined age divisions. This means that due to the rounding errors mentioned above, rankings may in rare cases not be displayed the same as in TOM for preliminary rounds and the combined age division.
